About the Author

Tyler Heggans aims to create a better future. A life-long learner and language lover, Heggans imagined his first novel When Our Haven Burned while studying in Europe—an idea that grew from a lifetime of conversations, friendships and experiences. With a deeply rooted altruistic spirit, he actively volunteers with the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

A graduate of Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service, he lives in New York City. When he isn’t wandering the world, he can be found browsing bookshelves or cycling through the city’s parks.

Heggans dreams of the day he can sit on his porch and watch his grandchildren play, knowing their future environment is safe and sustainable.
